Text Box: SPECIALISTS IN SCHOOL-BASED LAW ENFORCEMENT

WHO WE ARE:

Law Advisory Group,  formed in Ohio in 1987,  is an outgrowth of several service companies dating back to 1959.

Operating originally to train Ohio Law Enforce-ment agencies on the use of law in a positive manner in field situations,  the Company was invited by agencies in Michigan, Illinois and Pennsylvania to expand its operations.   Eventually,  39 states and the District of Columbia were listed as clients.

Founder Patricia C. Holecek, RN, a former school nurse and the  widow of a police officer who died in the line of duty,  made two key decisions:   (1) use professional research to design all programs;  (2) employ professional presenters

At the request of an Alabama Police Department,  she expanded the area that has been the Group's forte since 1991, namely the police-school partnership.
